Yoga Seva Studio
teaches through demonstration,
participation and explanation. All classes are
taught in a calming and inspiring atmosphere with
class size limited in consideration of safety and
comfort. Yoga Seva attracts a variety of
students. All ages and body types are welcome.
With practice, dedication and discipline yoga may
help in weight loss, to relieve chronic pain,
promote physical and emotional energy and slow down
the effects of aging.

Yoga Seva offers classic Hatha
Yoga and private instruction in a warm and
supportive atmosphere. Gentle, Beginning,
Multi level, and Level 1 classes are offered 7 days a
week at 60F West Terra Cotta Avenue, Crystal Lake,

Philosophy
Yoga Seva Studio
teaches through demonstration,
participation and explanation. Everyone progresses at their own pace in
their own time.
All classes are taught
in a calming and inspiring atmosphere with class
size limited in consideration of safety and
comfort. A class period is carefully designed so
the poses build on each other, allowing the students
to properly warm up in an effort to accomplish the
more difficult poses. The Yoga Seva class
environment is designed for each student to
peacefully leave behind their busy worlds and take
70 minutes for their personal regeneration of mind
and body.
Student Profile
- Yoga Seva attracts a variety of student profiles.
All ages and body types are welcome. Women
concerned with bone loss or osteoporoses will find
non-impact weight bearing poses a positive benefit.
Yoga students learn a variety of ways to reduce
stress. With practice, dedication and discipline
yoga may help in weight loss, to relieve chronic
pain, promote physical and emotional energy and slow
down the effects of aging.
Science is recognizing the many benefits of a yoga
practice; proving the potential to promote well
being and prevent some of the common complaints from
a sedentary lifestyle.
